We’re Lori and Chuck Ros, and we started LavenderBlu Farms in 2022 with a simple goal: to eat healthier, stay active, and connect more with our community. From the moment we first saw this land, we knew we wanted to create a destination farm—an experience to share. We chose blueberries for their superfood goodness, lavender for its calming charm, apples for the joy of picking, and flowers simply because beauty matters. Our Story
Before we were farmers, we were explorers, traveling to more than 50 countries together and blogging about our adventures along the way. Whether visiting an elephant rescue in Thailand or sharing wine and conversation in the Tuscan countryside, we’ve always been drawn to places that feel real, grounded, and welcoming. That spirit of exploration--and our love for community, beauty, and good food--planted the seeds for what would become LavenderBlu Farms.
Professionally, our backgrounds couldn’t be more different, yet they complement each other perfectly. Chuck is an IT executive with a deep passion for systems, structure, business, and innovation. Lori is a former educator with a gift for nurturing growth in both people and in plants. Together, we bring a thoughtful, balanced approach to farming: Chuck focuses on the infrastructure, tools, and flow that keep things running smoothly, while Lori leans into the art and science of growing beautiful, healthy things.
LavenderBlu Farms is our shared vision of a life well-lived, one rooted in health, hospitality, and harmony with the land.
