What We're Growing, 2026
In 2026, our fields reflect a simple philosophy: we grow what we love. Alongside our established perennials—900 blueberry plants, 1,000 lavender plants, 60 apple trees, and a smattering of peach, pecan, and fig trees—we continue to expand what’s possible across the farm. Our growing footprint includes a 1+ acre garden, a dozen (and growing!) raised beds, and nearly 2,000 square feet of greenhouse space that lets us start strong and extend the season.
Each year, we plant a rotating variety of seasonal, naturally-grown vegetables and fruits—old favorites, new experiments, and crops chosen simply because we enjoy eating them and sharing them with our community. What we grow evolves with the seasons and our curiosity, but the goal is always the same: healthy plants, great flavor, and food naturally grown with care, intention, and joy.

Tomatoes
Our 2026 tomato crop is all about flavor and variety. We’re growing classic heirlooms like Cherokee Purple, Beefsteak, and German Johnson, along with cherry tomatoes including Black Cherry and Candyland. And of course, Chuck’s favorite—San Marzano romas—perfect for sauces and cooking.

Squash
Our 2026 squash lineup mixes Southern tradition with a little fun. We’re growing classic yellow straight and crookneck squash, several zucchini varieties including Spineless Beauty, striped Mexicana, and Dunja, plus the playful patty pan Y Star—perfect for fresh summer cooking.

Other Goodies
Beyond our headline crops, we grow a wide mix of seasonal favorites. Summer brings peas, cucumbers, eggplant, corn—and we’re especially excited to grow potatoes this year. Our cooler seasons shine with leafy greens like kale, spinach, chard, collards, and mustard greens, plus cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, and more.

Peppers
Our 2026 pepper crop brings the heat—at every level. From sweet lunchbox peppers and classic California Wonder bells to mild poblanos and green Hatch, we’ve got flavor covered. For the brave, we’re also growing flavorful jalapenos, fiery habaneros, scorching ghost peppers, and seriously hot Carolina Reapers.

Garlic and Onions
In 2026, our onion and garlic crops are bigger and better than ever. We’re growing yellow and white sweet onions, purple onions, bunching (early) onions, parade onions, and evergreen onions. Our garlic harvest includes a flavorful mix of purple and white varieties, perfect for everyday cooking. Oh, and we're growing a couple of wonderful new leek varieties.

Melons
Our 2026 melon patch features the favorites we love most. We’re growing Sugar Cube cantaloupes—Chuck’s absolute favorite summer crop—alongside classic Sugar Baby watermelons. We’re also excited to try a new organic cantaloupe variety called Divergent, adding something fresh and fun to the mix.

Culinary Herbs
Our love of lavender naturally led us deeper into culinary herbs. Along with longtime favorites like rosemary, basil, and cilantro, we’ve expanded our herb garden in 2026 to include warm-season stars such as Genovese, Thai, and lemon basil, fennel, mint, oregano, and lemon balm. Cooler seasons bring chives, dill, parsley, sage, thyme, tarragon, marjoram, sorrel, savory, chamomile, wild bergamot, and catnip for tea—fresh, fragrant, and full of flavor.
